Most items thrown away in Algeria are still usable. The problem is almost never the condition of the item, but the time it takes to get rid of it — and that time is exactly what this site shortens.
What goes fastest
- Working electrical appliances — a fridge, a washing machine or a fan in working order finds a taker within hours.
- Clothes and bedding — clean and folded, always in demand.
- Tools and small equipment — drills, ladders, containers: much sought after for small building jobs.
- Second-hand furniture — less in demand, but never unsellable: honestly describe the condition.
Announcing a donation properly
Three things are enough: a real photo, the exact condition (working, dented, to be repaired) and your commune. Without a photo the listing is ignored; without a commune the candidate has to write and ask a question they could have answered themselves.
Publishing a donation takes one minute from creating a listing, choosing the free type.
Why it is useful
A given item takes up no landfill space and costs nothing to remove. And when a donation listing ends, its owner can mark it as completed: that is what feeds the activity counters of a profile and unlocks reviews, two elements that make an account more credible to buyers.
One last practical point: set a wide collection window rather than an exact hour. Donations fail far more often on a narrow slot than on a heavy object.
